Beginners

1. Download and print your own Family Operational Handbook (FOH).

2. To get started, Follow the instructions in The Love Safety Net Workbook at Kim Cooper on Substack  (https://kimcooper66.substack.com/).

Advanced

1. Download and print your own Family Operational Handbook (FOH).

2. Download and print The Operating Life Formula (OLF) Playbook. This booklet will help each family member determine what success level they are operating at. Once each family member has determined their level at one of the early meetings you hold, download and print a copy of the corresponding worksheet for that level from the manual download page.

3. The OLF Levels Card provides a simple reference card for dealing with the negativity that may arise while agreeing. Please print out the two pages and laminate them back to back. Look at the negative behaviour, flip the card over, and respond with the same number but as a positive. For examples of this, read Chapter 5 – Reaching Agreements.

4. Download the Empathy Resolution Cards Pages 1, 2 & 3. Cut the solid line around the edge of each page. Then, cut along the internal dotted lines and fold along the internal solid lines. Put clear tape around the three open sides to create cards.

5. Read all Five chapters of Family Fundamentals to get started. This will prepare you and your partner to lead decision-making processes (DMPs) in your family.
